now we're dealing with a wind storm and heavy rain through the big cities of the northeast and soon new england. it's a rough morning for the commute. winds just gusted to 43 at jfk airport. you can imagine at the airports especially from new york city, philadelphia and northwards will have the most significant delays and cancellations on this friday. thankfully it's just rain. we're not really dealing with igs ice or snow in new england. it's a different story in the great lakes. it's a winter wonderland anywhere in the state of michigan. it snowed hard last night, northern indiana and much of the state of ohio right now is seeing snow. careful driving, interstate 70 going across the lower portions of the great lakes and the ohio valley. and the winds are gusting, too. we probably have a little bit of blowing and drifting snow in indiana, michigan and ohio. and again, those winds this morning around new york city could get as high as 60 miles per hour. the worst of it coming in the next three hours. so keep that in mind as you're driving on the roads or doing anything outdoors. as far

here along the peninsula, we had just a steady light rain reported over the city and into daly city. now you can see a bit of a breaker. >>> the sunset district. we've got take it easy as you are getting into san francisco. almost areas into burlingame. we're seeing a few light showers. and hercules, we have richmond down to albany. benicia, you are probably filling it or seeing it. make sure you carry the umbrella. we have several rounds of rain coming our way in time for the weekend. we have a wind advisory for san francisco apartment well as the coastline. but you don't have to be in san francisco to feel the breeze. we have 18 miles an hour in oakland. some of the hills really gusting. los gatos, reporting 45 miles an hour. and areas near mt. diablo, 50- mile-an-hour gusts reported there. headed to the sierra, i don't see any snow falling just yet but there is a winter storm warning that will last until sunday night. it could be a zoozy at times. table it ease -- take it easy. we have three storms heading our way. we could see 3 to 5 inches. the rest of us will see 20 to 3 by the
